Who We Are
Developing competitive junior rifle athletes from across the State of Texas.
The Texas Junior Rifle Team brings together dedicated junior athletes and experienced adult coaches from affiliated shooting clubs throughout Texas.
Our statewide training program develops young marksmen and markswomen, ages 12 to 20, into confident, disciplined, and proficient competitors in the sport of military service rifle shooting.
Through structured training and competition, our juniors develop skills that extend far beyond the firing line, including leadership, responsibility, teamwork, mental focus, and competitive integrity.

A Tradition of Junior CompetitionTexas junior rifle teams have competed for more than four decades, developing young athletes and representing the State of Texas in competitive service rifle shooting.
2018
Texas Junior Rifle Team, Inc.In 2018, Texas Junior Rifle Team, Inc. was formed to support and continue the development of junior service rifle competitors throughout Texas. Carrying the Texas Tradition ForwardToday, the Texas Junior Rifle Team continues that tradition by bringing together junior competitors, coaches, families, clubs, and supporters from across the state. The program provides opportunities for juniors to train, compete, grow as teammates, and represent Texas at the highest levels of competition. |
